Christine L. McKellar has established herself as a preeminent series writer of sexy,
thrilling, and contemporary fiction novels. Christine’s skillful writing brings her
characters and environs to life as she takes her readers on luxury yachts to exotic ports along with a sexy crew and an empathetic protagonist (A Port of No Return, The Shadows of the Sea). A variety of romantic intrigues, occult activities, and tropical landmarks make this series as original as it is compelling.
A prolific writer, Christine has just released The Devil’s Valet: a suspense fiction novel that crosses continents and moral boundaries. Not to be confused with the sailing series, The Devil’s Valet showcases the author’s ability to write convincingly in different “voices.” Critics have hailed The Devil’s Valet as “worthy of a Lifetime movie.”
Born in Watertown, New York, Christine was raised in Southern California and
graduated high school in Southern Oregon. Probably due to her parents’
wanderlust, her post high school years were spent traveling and sailing.
The MsAdventures at Sea series is based loosely on the author’s personal
experiences. Christine has sailed to each destination in the series and she
weaves in just enough geographic, historical and current detail to make readers
feel as though they are sailing there themselves.
Over the years, Christine acquired a background in marketing and advertising.
She also worked as a journalist and is a featured columnist in Las Vegas Woman
Magazine, and a contributor to LVWM and Las Vegas Bride Magazine. She is also
one of sixteen selected authors in Las Vegas Noir, a short crime fiction anthology.
Christine lives in Las Vegas, NV, with her two dogs. Sultan, a white German Shepherd male, and Trixie, the divadoodle, labradoodle. Christine has been on three Princess cruises as a featured author/lecturer; the western Caribbean, the Panama Canal, and Australia/Tasmania/New Zealand. She has one son in college, and while she is happily divorced, she still considers her ex-husband as one of her best friends.
